I lived in Warsaw for half of my adult life and it will always be one of my favorite cities in Europe. This Polish capital is teeming with boutique studios that rival anything you'd find in London or Berlin.
Warsaw is a busy city and that is exactly why the wellness scene here has exploded. So if you are here for a short visit or a local looking to switch up the routine, here is my curated list of the best spots to practice, breathe, and stretch in Warsaw.
Polka Pilates - The name says it all ("Polka" means Polish woman), and this studio is a total love letter to female energy. It feels more like a lifestyle club than a gym. The aesthetic is undeniable. Think "boho loft" with big windows, warm lighting, lots of wood. It's incredibly welcoming. The workout is closer to the "traditional" reformer style. The classes feel social, supportive and very feminine. Currently the studio has two locations in the city: Koszykowa (located in the attic of a 19th-cantury tenement house and Zlota.
Local tip: When you visit Koszykowa location, don't forget to grab coffee or matcha at Fourteen Concept after the class.
Studio Syrenka - "Syrenka" means Little Mermaid (the symbol of Warsaw), and this place is a hidden gem. It's small, intimate, and run with a lot of heart. They focus heavily on anatomy of movement (Zoga concept), so it's less about burning calories and more about fixing your posture.
Sense Studio - Located in Mokotów, Sense is simply beautiful. Think warm wood, calming tones and top-tier Gratz equipment. It feels less like a gym and more like a spa for your muscles. It's boutique in the truest sense - quiet, focused and very premium. Perfect for a "treat yourself", classic Pilates workout.

Yoga Republic - is an institution. Located right at Plac Zbawiciela (the absolute hipster heart of Warsaw), Yoga Republic is where serious Ashtanga practitioners go. The rooms are bright, located in tenement apartments with high ceilings, converted into shalas. Even though classes are technically in Polish, the teachers are world-class and can easily switch to English for adjustments.
Best for: Ashtanga Mysore style and feeling the pulse of the city
Local tip: Grab a coffee at Charlotte or Karma nearby after class.
Change Studio - Perfect for someone who appreciates "full experience". They have a room with walls made of Himalayan salt and offer sound healing sessions. It's very beautiful and sensory. It's not just a workout or practice, it's a full nervous system reset. The studio combines Pilates, Yoga and personal training in one place.
Location: Wola
Koma Yoga Studio - If you want to escape the city noise of the Warsaw city center, head to KOMA in Powisle. This studio feels like a secret garden retreat. It was founded by Ewa and Kinga, who brought back traditional Himalayan yoga techniques from Rishikesh. The space is filled with natural light, plants and sense of genuine calmness. They don't just teach poses, they blend asanas with mantras and breathwork in a way that feels very authentic and not "fitnessy". Their "Deep Stretch" and "Energy Flow" classes are local favorites.
Local tip: Head to SAM for a nice post yoga breakfast/lunch or go visit the gardens located on the rooftop of the Warsaw University Library (BUW)

Enjoy!
With love, Ewelina
